I don't think the temperature is accurate on this monitor. The reason I
bought it is because my room stays icy cold in the winter and hot in the
summer--even though we have central air and heating and when I look at
this monitor the temperature always feels lower than this monitor shows
in my cold room. I can't prove this because I have no way of checking
the monitor against something else. But I can hardly believe that the
temp is warmer (showing on the monitor) than it actually is. It always
feels about 10 degrees colder. Have not had summer weather yet, so I
can't state how accurate it seems then. I think the humidity reading is
probably right because where I live we have a lot of high humidity, and
especially before it rains and during rain storms, and this monitor
always shows high humidity when that happens. But I really wanted a
monitor for the temperature reading, so this was a disappointment to me.
